Corporate Partners: Your business and St Wilfrid's Hospice
What is Partners?
Partners is a scheme run by St Wilfrid's Hospice giving us the opportunity to work together. We can help you attain the communities side of any corporate social responsibility plans you have. Just pledge a minimum fundraising commitment over the course of a year.
Why support St Wilfrid's?
We know that there are still too many people dying in our local community who are not accessing hospice care. St Wilfrid's Hospice aims to change this, reaching all those in Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield, Pevensey and surrounding areas who could benefit, so that everyone has the chance to live well at the end of life. But we need your help.
It currently costs over £22,000 a day to provide our services; less than 30% of this comes from the NHS, so that leaves us with the other 70% to find from our local community, local people and generous businesses like yours.
Ways to raise
Every little bit of fundraising you or your staff do over the course of the year will count towards Partners. Events you put on, sponsorship you give us, donations you make, our events that you take part in....it all counts.
So what could you do?
- Make a donation
- Match-fund any fundraising your staff do
- Fund a week of care
- Take part in a challenge event - ever considered a sky dive? How about a marathon?
- Sponsor one of our mass-participation events
- Take part in one of our mass-participation events - maybe as a team
- Put on your own event - a cake sale or a raffle or think bigger, how about a golf day or a sports day?
We can also help you put your ideas into action!
