SuperHalfs

Are you ready to go on your own running adventure for hospice care? Take on one or more of the SuperHalfs in Lisbon, Prague, Berlin, Copenhagen, Cardiff or Valencia.

Fancy the challenge of running a destination half marathon? 

New for 2027, we’ve got places in the international series of SuperHalfs, which include half marathons in Lisbon, Prague, Berlin, Copenhagen, Cardiff and Valencia. Raise funds for hospice care, whilst challenging yourself and seeing the sights of a cosmopolitan city.

To take on a SuperHalf half marathon event, we ask that you will pledge to raise a minimum of £750 for hospice care, and pay a registration fee of £25 (per event).

If you choose to support us, the Events Team will provide you with:

  • Regular emails with plenty of fundraising support and advice
  • Fundraising resources
  • A St Wilf’s running vest to personalise with iron-on letters
  • T-shirts, cheer sticks and banners for your on-the-day supporters
  • A dedicated team to help you reach your fundraising goal

Lisbon half marathon

Lisbon

7th March 2027

The course follows the shores of the River Tagus, with an unforgettable start crossing the impressive 25 de Abril bridge and a finish overlooked by the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos monument. The race attracts athletes from all walks of life and at a range of ability levels, from elites to first time runners.

The Generali Prague Half Marathon is an unforgettable race for more reasons than one. Stunning scenery awaits you at every twist and turn of the course, including the Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, the National Theatre, Vyšehrad Castle and the Rudolfinum Concert Hall.

Berlin SHalf Marathon 07

4th April 2027

This unique event assembles historical buildings, trendy neighbourhoods, places steeped in history, modern new buildings, cultural palaces, clubs, parks and nature in a way no other sports event in the capital can. The city tour with a sporty touch continues its trend as a hip happening in the running community.

Copenhagen

September 2027

You’ll pass through colorful districts like Nørrebro, Vesterbro, the Inner City, and Frederiksberg Allé — often called the ‘Nordic Champs-Élysées’. You’ll spot national landmarks like Christiansborg Palace, the Marble Church, and the Black Diamond library. All while being surrounded by Power Zones, cheering crowds, and the kind of energy that makes every kilometer count.

Cardiff

3rd October 2027

The route takes in all of the city’s most iconic landmarks including the Principality Stadium, Cardiff Bay, the Civic Centre and Cardiff Castle. Thousands of spectators turn out to cheer on the runners in a city renowned for its sporting passion.

Valencia

24th October 2027

This city centre course winds its way through the busy streets of Valencia, as well as the Maritime Quarter. The route is constantly tweaked to make sure it takes in as much of the authentic city experience as possible, as well as removing some tighter bends to allow for faster finishing times.
