Visiting us
Our hospice on Broadwater Way in Eastbourne is a bright and welcoming space designed for the whole community. Visitors to the Street Café, Retreat and Memory Tree are welcome between 8am and 4pm. There are no restrictions on visiting times for patients.
At the hospice you will find:
- Inpatient Unit.
- Outpatient clinics (for appointments with our doctors, nurses and therapists).
- Living Well hub, including our gym, therapies team, drop in sessions and group sessions.
- Counselling, spiritual support and social work teams.
- The Street Café – open to everyone.
- Retreat – a quiet space for reflection that is open to everyone.
- The Memory Tree – a place to remember loved ones that is open to everyone.

Our address is: 1 Broadwater Way, Eastbourne, BN22 9PZ.
We have a limited number of car parking spaces prioritised for patients and their families. There are also a small number of spaces for Blue Badge holders.
The hospice can be accessed easily by public transport and is a 10-minute walk from Hampden Park station. Bus numbers 55, 55a, 56, 57 and 58 stop nearby, either at Sainsbury’s or Eastbourne District General Hospital.

The Street Café
You'll always find a warm welcome at The Street Café, located in the main entrance of St Wilfrid's Hospice.
Memory Tree
The beautiful Memory Tree is on the wall in the central Street area of St Wilfrid’s Hospice for all visitors to view and enjoy.
