Dia de los Muertos
Seahorse Autumn Gathering
This autumn, children and young people are invited to a colourful and creative afternoon at St Wilfrid's, to remember and celebrate someone important who has died.
Join us for an afternoon inspired by the Mexican festival Dia de los Muertos - Day of the Dead. This festival celebrates the cycle of life and death and is a time for families to gather and remember family and friends who have died (as seen in the movie Coco!). The festival includes colourful parades, music and dancing. Skulls and skeletons are featured often - these are not meant to be scary but rather a way to celebrate death as a natural part of life.
