Hospice care awareness days for health professionals
- Death, dying and the philosophy of end of life care
- Guiding national principles/ standards and priorities for end of life care
- An overview of the hospice movement and model
- Identifying end of lLife – case studies
- Rehabilitative palliative care
- An overview of symptom management, pain assessment, JICs medications at end of life
This day includes some highly emotive topics and discussion around symptom management and death and dying. Please consider in advance of booking whether the content might upset you and what support you have within your workplace or learning institution, should you need it.
When: Thursday 25th September 2025 or Tuesday 20th January 2026
