Hidden Gems awards
At St Wilfrid’s Hospice our core values are to be compassionate, professional, respectful and progressive in all that we do. We are also dedicated to the FREDIE principles of Fairness, Respect,Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement.
To celebrate some of the spectacular ways that our people demonstrate these values and principles we are hosting a ‘Hidden Gems’ awards ceremony as part of the staff and volunteer party on 10th July 2024.
The event will provide an opportunity for us to come together, highlight the work we are especially proud of and share our successes over the past year.
The awards:
There are four award categories to help uncover some of our hidden gems. Each category will award one winning volunteer, one clinical employee and one non-clinical employee. Nominations are open now and close at the end of the day on Sunday 30th June.
The categories:
- Because You Matter award – Someone who has gone above and beyond to support their colleagues, embrace inclusion, motivate others and work as part of a team.
- Outside The Box award – Someone who has used their unique perspective, creativity or expertise to come up with an innovative idea or solution.
- Extra-ordinary award – Someone whose work may not be in the spotlight but their consistent contribution makes a difference.
- Growing With Each Day award – Someone who has stepped out of their comfort zone and grown in confidence in their role.
