Dragon Boating is the ultimate sport for all abilities, and perfect for team building. No previous experience is required as full training will be given on the day.
Crews of 13 to 17 people compete in races over a distance of 200m. Each crew is made up of pairs of paddlers and a drummer beating time to keep the paddlers in unison. A professional helmsperson will guide the boat.
Each team will have their own area a the event, so it’s the perfect opportunity to bring a picnic and make a day of it with family, friends or colleagues.
It costs £399 to sign up before 31st March, or £450 from 1st April, and we are asking teams to challenge themselves to raise £1,000, or £60 per person, for St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
