WANTED: Fundraisers looking for adventure!

We have some fascinating challenges that need superb fundraisers to take on and raise money for local hospice care.

From rafting through the Zambezi River or hiking up Mount Everest, you can take part in any open challenge anywhere in the world and raise money for local hospice care.

Whether you want to hike, bike, paddle or run, we can help find a challenge that is suited to you!

We work with Charity Challenge and Discover Adventure to provide adventurous open challenges to all our supporters who want to take part. If you find a challenge elsewhere, let us know and we’ll support you every step of the way.

Once you’ve told us about your challenge, our Fundraising Team will provide you with all the materials you need to get the most out of your fundraising, including a fundraising pack, paper sponsorship forms, collection pots, promotional banners, balloons and T-shirts/running vests.

You could either collect sponsorship in person or set up a fundraising page online at Just Giving (justgiving.com) where your friends and family could donate directly to.

Once you’ve completed your challenge, we'll send you your very own bespoke Challenge Medal and certificate to congratulate you on your achievement and to thank you for supporting St Wilfrid’s.

It costs over £17,000 a day to run the hospice, so every pound you raise will go a long way in helping to provide care to our patients, in the hospice building and out in the community.

If you’re unsure of what challenge to take on in 2022, have a look at the exciting ones below, or head to charitychallenge.com or discoveradventure.com for more information.

If you have questions about open challenges, contact Jasmin at jasmin.king@stwhospice.org or call the Fundraising Team on 01323 434241.
