A team of 4 Brewers staff members took on the epic challenge of cycling the South Downs Way (all 100 miles and 11,000ft of climbing!) raising money for Rowcroft Hospice our hospice. The team had 24 hours to complete the challenge and began at Brewers Winchester before finishing at Beachy Head.

Hayley Crouch, a Registered Nurse at our hospice, has helped serve at Qualisea as a second job having been friends with Katerina, Qualisea's owner, for many years! With the theft of a charity box from Qualisea a few months back, she helped the restaurant to recover and raise £3000 in funds for local charities - £1500 of which went to us!

Melanie's children had always been close to their mum and when she died at our hospice they wanted to do something special to remember her. They opted to fundraise for us by walking 100km, starting in London and finishing in Brighton.

Qualisea Fish Restaurant suffered the theft of two charity pots a few weeks ago and, thanks to the local community, have organised a huge raffle and donation for our hospice - £3000 between our hospice and local charity JPK.

Rock Choir will be hitting the high notes at our hospice and raising the roof to raise funds for us on June 20th 2017! The choral contingent will be regaling us with hits from their incredible catalogue of songs, hits and tunes from midday (12pm) on Tuesday 20th June!

Our men's cooking group in a fine mood on Friday - plenty of laughter, advice and great cooking! On the menu was chocolate rye bread, ciabatta and raisin scones.

We run this group to bring bereaved men and those in the care of our hospice together. It's a real blend of individuals sharing common experiences and is a warm, compassionate space where people feel free to be completely honest about their experiences and discuss them with others.

Our 7 ceremonies for Lights of Love raised over £33,000 and brought together nearly 600 people across East Sussex. 800 doves were hung on our hospice Christmas tree as we celebrated a non-denominational gathering to remember loved ones.
