Support from our medical and clinical teams
We have a team of Palliative Care Consultants, Speciality Doctors, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Therapists who are on hand to assess you and to develop a care plan in consultation with you.
We want to understand what matters most to you and how we can best support this. A clinical professional may see you in the hospice as an outpatient if you are well enough to attend, or at home, or in our Inpatient Unit. Their aim will be to get your pain and other symptoms under control and to enable you to manage your illness.
Our Doctors are not on site overnight but they are on call in case of need.
Our medical and clinical teams work closely with your GP, hospital Consultant and the District Nursing team, supplementing but not replacing these statutory services.
