We offer support in a number of different ways to anyone whose relative or friend was cared for by St Wilfrid’s before they died.

Please note that in response to the Covid-19 crisis we are temporarily extending adult bereavement support to our whole community, beyond those directly linked to the hospice.

Some people find it helpful to talk about their loss. Others may seek practical advice. Some find it helpful just to visit the building or our gardens again. Do drop in for a cup of coffee in The Street, spend some quiet time in our Retreat or join one of our group activities. Some people decide to undertake some fundraising in memory of a loved one. These are all different ways of remembering your loved one and moving through your bereavement.

We appreciate that not all the options for support described above are possible during this current time. Please keep exploring the website for the support that is available at this time and please come back in the future for those options currently not available or possible.

You may or may not want to talk about what has happened in your life. Both are fine.
