Our target for the raffle is £35,000, that’s enough to fund a Nurse’s salary for a year.

Head of Community Nursing, Eirian Levell told us about Nurse, Laura Hanagan

Laura sees patients in the community – in care homes or in their own homes. She initially came to St Wilfrid’s as a Management Student, part of her Registered Nurse training, and was based on the Inpatient Unit. Having successfully navigated the three-year course alongside a young family, Laura joined the Community Nursing Team as a Registered Nurse. Laura works full time and is based in Eastbourne, seeing approximately 20 patients a week as well as supporting the Clinical Nurse Specialists and Healthcare Assistants to provide responsive and appropriate emergency support to the patients and carers on the caseload. Laura also works as a Duty Nurse once a week, providing a rapid response to changes in need and increased complexity.

Could you help fund the salary of a Nurse like Laura?
