Hello, my name is Wilfie Bear!

I am a very hungry bear and one of my favourite things to do is to have a picnic with my friends.

Could you be like me and organise your own picnic with your family and friends? We have everything you need to put on a fantastic picnic, from cut-out bunting to super tasty food recipes.

The best part of this picnic is that it helps to raise money for my friends at St Wilfrid’s, which means they can look after some very poorly people.

I’ve found some great ways to help you raise money whilst you have fun at your picnic, and you might even have some ideas of your own! How about a simple game that your friends could join in, like ‘Guess the name of the teddy bear’ or ‘guess how many sweets in the jar’? Or you could make delicious picnic food that you could ask your friends to buy from you.

You could even ask people to buy a ticket to the best picnic ever – which is what your picnic will be!

You can have your picnic whenever and wherever you want to, but did you know that National Picnic week is from 15th to 24th of June? Whatever date you choose, let my friends at St Wilfrid’s Know, because I might just pop along to join your picnic!
