Our full Open Gardens season is back for 2021, and we can’t wait to welcome you to these stunning gardens. Last year we were limited to a mini-season of six gardens, so we’re so excited to show you the ten gorgeous gardens we are opening this year.
The money raised at our Open Gardens will fund the work we do. Last year we supported over 1,600 patients with life-limiting illnesses and their family members. It costs over £16,000 a day to run the hospice. With only 23% of that amount coming from the NHS, we rely on the support and generosity of the community to raise the rest. In 2019, the Open Gardens season raised over £25,000 so your donations really will make a difference and are greatly appreciated.
Please check each individual garden below for details regarding refreshments, facilities and arrival times.
At the time of planning the 2021 Open Garden programme, Covid-19 restrictions are in place and it is possible that some level of social distancing regulation will continue during the season. So we are asking our visitors to pre-book a timed entry slot for each of our gardens this year. This is so we can keep visitor numbers within any imposed limits and keep our visitors, garden owners and staff as safe as possible.
We are asking for a donation of £5 per person per garden, which can be made at the time of booking.
To book your ticket please click on the garden below and follow the link to Eventbrite.
If you have any questions, please call us on 01323 434241
If you are booking as part of a group, we recommend that one person books for everyone to ensure that you can all book for the same arrival time.
We look forward to seeing you and really hope you enjoy visiting St Wilfrid’s Open Gardens this year.
The printing of our brochures was very kindly sponsored by Chalk Farm Nurseries chalkfarmnurseries.co.uk
