Founded in 1982, our mission is to reach out to transform end of life care. We do this by providing personalised, high-quality support to people with any progressive and advanced life-limiting illness and to those close to them.

This happens in our state-of-the-art hospice building in Eastbourne and through our community teams. Referrals are made by local GPs or other healthcare professionals and support is delivered by teams including consultants in palliative medicine, specialist nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, counsellors and social workers.

We also have a busy, bustling café selling delicious homemade food and all are welcome, or why not come along to a free Crafty Friday session on Friday mornings, or join our audition-less Community Choir, which meets at the hospice on Wednesday evenings. The hospice isn't just about care for our patients and their families, it's about reaching out to the whole community.
