Salary: £25,000-£30,500 per annum dependent on experience 

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Retail Area Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Trading, the successful candidate will lead and develop a multi-site portfolio of retail outlets, providing clear direction to our hard working and committed Community Shop Managers.

You’ll have a minimum of 2 years’ of multi-site retail experience, with a strong track record in maximising income generation and profitability in accordance with budget expectations. You will be energetic and motivated with the ability to inspire staff and volunteers and manage performance to deliver excellent retail standards and customer service.

You will be part of a friendly and supportive team, committed to raising funds to provide end of life care to local people in Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield and Pevensey and the rural areas in between and beyond. 

We offer a generous holiday entitlement of 27 days per year plus bank holidays along with a contributory pension scheme.
