37.5 hours per week

Salary: Up to £27,467.58 depending on experience

Due to the expansion of our therapy team, we are seeking a registered Physiotherapist to join our specialist palliative care team as a Community Physiotherapist. As part of the multidisciplinary team you will be working closely with the Community Nurse Specialists to deliver a high quality physiotherapy service for people with a life limiting illness. There will be a strong focus on working as part of the MDT with an emphasis on rehabilitation, self-management and independence in a variety of community settings. You will be self-motivated, have a positive attitude towards change and excellent communication skills.

In this new and dynamic role you will be supported to work alongside the Community Occupational Therapist and wider MDT providing clinical leadership to the hospice living well service as part of our ‘Closer To You’ strategy.  Your role will include assessing patients referred to the service and providing clinical supervision to a team of trained volunteers.

It is an essential that you already have experience working as a Band 5 Physiotherapist.
