Try your hand at a classic Masterchef-style invention test in the Langham Hotel under the expert eye of Executive Chef, Mike Titherington. 

This competitive two hour experience will put you head to head with 9 other cooks in a bid to deliver the best dish. You will be presented with a selection of ingredients from which you must create your own dish within a given timeframe.

All cooks will receive:

  • a Dish It Up & Dine chef’s apron
  • access to a range of fresh and store cupboard ingredients
  • an introduction to the kitchen and equipment and a brief health and safety discussion
  • refreshments on arrival

For the creator of the best dish of each heat there is an invitation to cook again in the final!

Part 1 heats will take place on each of the following dates: 

23rd & 30th January 2019 between 2pm and 4pm

6th,13th & 20th February 2019 between 2pm and 4pm

  • An opportunity to create and prepare your own dish in a professional kitchen.
  • A chef’s apron as a memento of your experience.
  • A three course meal at the final (Part 2) prepared by Mike Titherington, Executive Chef at The Langham Hotel, Eastbourne.
  • Finale meal in the company of 2006 Masterchef Champion, Peter Bayless
  • The chance to compete to be one of the finalists of Dish It Up & Dine 2018 (Part 3)

The overall winner of Dish It Up & Dine will receive:

  • Commemorative trophy presented by Chief Judge, Peter Bayless
  • Overnight stay with dinner for two people, courtesy of The Langham Hotel, Eastbourne

Entry is strictly limited to 50 places.

Dish It Up & Dine is the inspiration of Neil Kirby, owner, and Mike Titherington, Executive Chef, of The Langham Hotel in Eastbourne. 

We would like to thank them for their incredible generosity in donating this complete event for the benefit of St Wilfrid’s.  This means that the entire entry fee paid to be part of this unique event will come straight to the hospice.
