If you're a UK taxpayer then Gift Aid can potentially add 25% on to the value of your donation to St Wilfrid's.

Gift Aid can be applied to donations of any amount – large or small – so whether you give £1 or £100, your donation can help raise much-needed extra funds to support our caring work.

It's simple to sign up and you just need to sign a one-off declaration, which is a simple tick of a box on our Gift Aid Form.

If you prefer a physical form by post, our contact team can be emailed at [email protected] or via telephone at 01323 434221

in 2015-2016 St Wilfrid's reclaimed thousands in Gift Aid tax. Your sign up means an even bigger impact for our charity!

We’ve included resources below to help you understand the impact of Gift Aid; what it is, where it goes and, most importantly, how to increase your donation by signing up for Gift Aid.

Can I register for Gift Aid?

If you would like to register for Gift Aid you need to complete a simple declaration form. We will register you as a gift aider to St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
To register please download this form and return it to us with your donated items. You will then be able to simply add your Gift Aid number to future donations or just your surname and postcode. Please ensure that this information is attached securely to your donated items.

How does Gift Aid work with donated items?

When you donate your items these will be logged against your Gift Aid account. You are donating items for the retail company to sell on your behalf.

When we sell the items this will be logged against your account. So that we use our resources efficiently we do not usually claim the gift aid until we are able to claim.
