The Wheelie Big Vehicle Rally
Organised by Morrisons to raise funds for St Wilfrid's Hospice
Sunday 8th December
5.30pm - 8pm
Start/Finish: Morrisons car park, Lottbridge Drove, Eastbourne
Cost: £20 per vehicle or £100 for 5+ vehicles
Now in its third year, The Wheelie Big Vehicle Rally is a procession that winds its way through Eastbourne. Vehicles and drivers are dressed in their best Christmas finery and make a fabulous festive sight, as they make their way from Morrisons, along Lottbridge Drove, to Langney Shopping Centre and ultimately back to the store via Kings Drive and the hospital.
There are prizes for the best dressed vehicle and driver.
There will also be entertainment, food and a Santa’s grotto for the children.
Event timings:
Vehicles arrive at Morrisons - 5pm (parked by banks men)
Food van available - 5.30pm
Santa’s grotto opens - 5.30pm
Procession forms up - 5.45pm
Procession begins - 6pm
Procession ends - 7pm (parked to be judged)
Judging commences - 7pm
Event ends - 8pm
Please note: You can enter as many vehicles as you like but all vehicles must be road worthy, with white lights at the front and red lights at the back, have a full MOT and insurance.
