Main site Volunteering with St Wilfrid's Opportunities Blog Volunteer Hub Get involved Volunteering with St Wilfrid's Garden Maintenance Where: St Wilfrid's Hospice gardens When: regular four-hour slot, Wednesdays and/or Fridays About the role You'll support our Head Gardener to keep the hospice's five unique gardens looking beautiful for patients, their families and members of the public. Key responsibilities Tidying and weeding areas as required Keeping hospice grounds clean and tidy Help with digging, lawn mowing, strimming and chipping General garden help at the direction of the Head Gardener To comply with relevant hospice policies and procedures Your skills, abilities and qualifications Basic gardening experience is desired but not essential Reliable Hard-working Happy to work as part of a team Good interpersonal skills Apply and more information To apply please complete the application form and return it by email, post, or drop it in next time you’re at the hospice.
