Where: St Wilfrid's Hospice gardens

When: regular four-hour slot, Wednesdays and/or Fridays


About the role

You'll support our Head Gardener to keep the hospice's five unique gardens looking beautiful for patients, their families and members of the public. 

Key responsibilities

  • Tidying and weeding areas as required
  • Keeping hospice grounds clean and tidy 
  • Help with digging, lawn mowing, strimming and chipping
  • General garden help at the direction of the Head Gardener
  • To comply with relevant hospice policies and procedures

Your skills, abilities and qualifications

  • Basic gardening experience is desired but not essential
  • Reliable
  • Hard-working
  • Happy to work as part of a team
  • Good interpersonal skills
