Fundraising in memory of a loved one whether friend or family can be a special way to remember them and leave a lasting legacy to add to their memory. Our Community Fundraising team are happy to help and can be reached at 01323 434280.

We have also assembled a list of great ways you can fundraise for your loved one or contribute towards a memorial, alongside some tips on how to make the most of your fundraising.

Fundraising pages

Drawing family and friends close to celebrate the life of a special loved one is beautiful and touching – many families choose to raise money on sites like Justgiving.com while they do so. The sites allow you to draw a portrait of the person you loved with videos, photos and words and ask people to help you out with your fundraising for a good cause. Giving to these pages is safe and secure for your family and friends and they can choose to donate anonymously or hide their donation amount for extra peace of mind.

Our team help put together memorial events and fundraising challenges throughout the year but, if you want to organise your own event – walks, runs and pretty much anything you can think of - we’ll support you from start to finish.

Make a donation in memory

Sometimes people prefer to make a simple donation online or via a form. Find out more about our Memory Tree and other in memory fundraising at our fundraising pages.

Memorial and funeral collections

When organising a memorial or funeral service for a loved one, many people choose to ask for donations to be given in lieu of flowers.

This is a lovely way for family and friends to make a donation and feel they are giving something back to the charity as a show of thanks, whilst remembering a loved one.

Please call our fundraising team on 01323 434216 for information on these collections.
