After the success of our first Wilf Walk in 2021, we’re back for a second year with a slightly amended route. This time, we’ll be starting from one of the most spectacular points on the South Downs, Ditchling Beacon. We have split the route into three parts and you can choose to take on as many as you want to.
- Ditchling Beacon to Southease 11 miles / 17.6 km
- Southease to Alfriston 7.5 miles / 11km
- Alfriston to Eastbourne 10 miles /16km
Entry is £40 per walker for the full route, £15 for a single-stage and £30 for two stages. The cost of entry includes route instructions, refreshments en route and at the finish line, a St Wilfrid’s T-shirt and a Wilf Walk 2022 medal on completion.
There is no minimum fundraising target but we are asking participants to aim for at least £100, which could cover the cost of a Nurse’s care on our Inpatient Unit, or out in the community, for one day. A fundraising pack full of fundraising tips and resources will be sent to all participants.
