Lights of Love 2021

As we head towards Christmas we wanted to find a way for you to remember those you have lost and for us to be together in a new and different way.

For St Wilfrid’s, this is a very special year: 2021 marks 40 years of delivering hospice care in our community.

As we head towards Christmas, we wanted to find a way for you to remember those you have lost and for us to be together in a new way. Our annual Lights of Love event is so important to everyone and we hope you will join us as we remember together. You can make a dedication to your loved one and we will create a star and hang it on our hospice tree for you.

Remember with stars

Perhaps the most special part of Lights of Love is the stars that are placed on our tree with the names of the loved ones we are remembering. Just like last year, you can download your stars at the bottom of this page.

We invite you to write the names of your loved one(s) and perhaps a short message on each of them. The first star is for you to keep, with our compliments and best wishes. Perhaps to hang on your own tree at home? The other can be returned to us when we will place it on the Lights of Love tree here in the hospice garden. We will copy names from returned decorations to a star decoration suitable for outdoor hanging.
