St Wilfrid’s are delighted to be the event Charity Partner for 2019.

Try a tri this year?

The friendly and supportive atmosphere of the Eastbourne Tri is perfect for those wanting to try out the sport of triathlon.  With sprint distance options available, local tri clubs and specialist equipment hire available locally, you can give this exciting multi disciplinary event a go.

Tried tri before?

If you really want to push yourself then a longer Olympic distance event has been added for this year.  Or enter one of the sprint events and aim for a PB.

Try a team tri?

Relay options are available at both distances.  Find a team of three to share the disciplines and you’re good to go.  Great for a company team or group of friends/family.

With a new organising team in place for 2019, this year’s event will feature new improved swim and run routes, as well as the addition of a longer Olympic distance race alongside the existing sprint distance event.

Starting from the lifeguard’s beach, triathletes will take on an iconic route, swimming against the backdrop of the historic Eastbourne pier, cycling the roads through the South Downs National park via Beachy Head and running on the iconic promenade to Holywell, before finishing on the Western Lawns.
