Some people find groups more helpful than one-to-one support. We offer a number of groups to bereaved family members and friends (alongside patients and carers), including the following:-

  • a drop in Saturday Social Group which meets monthly and is led by a team of volunteers
  • our Exploring through Art Group
  • our Cookery for Men Group, with a focus on enjoyment in cooking as well as new skills
  • a drop in Gardening Group held in the hospice gardens, with again a focus on shared enjoyment of a practical activity as well as peer support
  • our Mindfulness Group
  • our Sewing Group
  • our drop in Community Choir

For full details of our Wellbeing group programme open to bereaved family members and friends please check click on the links for each group above or check our Wellbeing information board in the Wellbeing corridor.
