We are looking for a Consultant in Palliative Medicine to cover maternity leave. The post is available from 5th April 2021 and will focus on leadership on the Inpatient Unit and in-reach to the local district general hospital. This post would be suitable for a newly qualified consultant or an experienced doctor.

St Wilfrid's first patient

In 1983, the first patient was admitted to St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Mill Gap Road. His name was Denis Nolan, and Sheila, his wife of 21 years, has kindly shared their story.
