Lottbridge Golf Club golf day raises £5,000 for hospice On a beautiful day for golf 88 golfers raised funds for patients... and attempted a hole in one to win a BMW! Lottbridge Golf Club was the setting for a serious day of golf for a great cause as 22 teams played around the 9 holes of 'the friendliest club on the South Coast'. Raising over £5,000 for St Wilfrid's patients, the day was a huge success and we thank Ray and the entire team at Lottbridge Golf Club, as well as all of the players and sponsors, for their amazing support! Ray commented on the day: 'What a day we all had on Friday at our annual LGC Charity Golf Day! From the feedback, all the teams had a great time with various activities going on throughout the day - longest drive, nearest the pin, beat the pro, putting and chipping competitions and not to mention the car for a hole in one donated by Chandler's - unfortunately not won on the day! The disco, hog roast, bouncy castle and magician made for a truly memorable day. All teams, without exception, have said they will definietly put a team in for next year's event. A massive thank you to all who took part!'With Chandlers of Hailsham offering a BMW for anyone hitting a hole in one, the teams had a great central prize up for grabs... but there were plenty of other prizes available in the raffle and throughout the day. We've assembled the best photos from the day and shared them below - take a look and share this post with your friends! Ray, right, owner of Lottbridge Golf Club, organised and led the day on behalf of St Wilfrid's Hospice. Thank you to Chandlers of Hailsham for their amazing prize - a BMW available to anyone skilled enough to sink a hole in one!
