We were pleased to have Tranmere Rovers striker James Norwood attend the Hospice recently to talk football and see the work we do here. Born in Eastbourne and formerly of Eastbourne Town/Borough, he toured the Hospice and spoke to our nursing team.

James was the hero for Tranmere in May 2018 when he scored the winning goal at Wembley to send Tranmere to League Two from the National League - a personal highlight for our Trusts Fundraiser who was not only at the game but whose son's middle name is Prenton after Prenton Park- Tranmere Rovers home ground!

We would like to thank James for taking time out of his busy schedule to see us and look forward to seeing him again in the future.
