Our blog Garden group taking root! St Wilfrid's Hospice's first ever gardening group began on 28th April and it's already taking root!Wellbeing Therapies manager Emily Bowler said: 'We made a great start and planted our first veg, lettuce, carrots, spring onions and pak choi! We also made a plantar where we will be growing herbs. The gardening team are busy clearing a space for us to plant some more veg next time and our youngest member of the group requested we make a bug hotel so that’s the plan! This group is open to anyone connected to the hospice, patients, carers or those who have been bereaved. It is a drop in 10.30am – 12.30am on the last Saturday of every month. All abilities are welcome and we meet whatever the weather!'
