Get involved Our Stories A giant crane, three containers and new space We were excited to receive these HUGE containers for our fundraising, gardening and clinical teams to store much-needed equipment in securely. While we were happy to see the giant objects arrive, they presented an even bigger challenge: how to lift them around our hospice building, over our current storage areas and between a lamp post and a tree!Luckily, a crane with a 17,000kg lift capacity and an operator with a huge deal of knowledge (with help from Facilities Manager Mark Kelly and Head Gardener Kevin Loveland - who is holding an event this Christmas) managed to get the containers over, around and through without too much trouble. In the end there was just a few inches gap between each container, fitting snugly into our Park entrance side. They're now ready to provide the invaluable space we need for our team's storage requirements.
