Every year we are very fortunate that local residents open their gardens under either our Open or Secret Gardens programme to raise money for St Wilfrid's Hospice.

12 May   11am - 4pm
Secret Gardens at 168, 170 and 172 Coast Road, Pevensey

We are pleased to announce that the Pevensey Bay Gardens will again open up their 3 gardens for us. Visitors are welcome to attend between 11am - 4pm on The Coast Road, Pevensey Bay. The 3 gardens consist of:

No. 168 - which has a shingle garden with driftwood sculptures, lobster pots, rock gardens and mostly indigenous flowers (featured on BBc's Gardeners World, Channel 4 and 'Coast' Magazine)
No. 170 - which is a shingle and shell garden with flowers, shrubs and trees.
No. 172 - which is a formal shingle garden with mediterranean plants.

Teas, coffees and other refreshments as well as small items made from driftwood, will be provided, along the beach at No. 152. This garden welcomes dogs, however is not wheelchair friendly.

13 June   11am - 4pm
Open Garden at The Old Barn, Seaford, BN25 2HJ

These charming domestic gardens surround a Sussex style house.  The garden contains an early 19th century flint barn, which is used for refreshments.  The whole garden is enclosed by flint walls. Entrance to the garden is by donation, with all proceeds going to St Wilfrid's Hospice.

Stalls and refreshments will be available and gardening advice will also be available on the day. Children are welcome and only guide dogs will be admitted. We apologise that this garden is not suitable for wheelchair users.

16 June   11am - 4pm
Open Garden at Carters Corner Farm, nr Hailsham, BN27 4JA

Explore the six acre woodland and take a stroll around the lovely garden which features a small lake with a duck island, a parterre and a farmyard with alpacas, ponies and pygmy goats! Entrance to the garden is by donation, with all proceeds going to St Wilfrid's Hospice.

Stalls and refreshments will be available and gardening advice will also be available on the day. Children are welcome and only guide dogs will be admitted. We are pleased to announce that this garden is able to cater for wheelchair users.

17 June  11am - 5pm
Secret Garden at 4 Marine Drive, Seaford, BN25 2RS

This year Geoff Stonebanks from 4, Marine Drive, Seaford, BN25 2RS is opening up his garden for us. For more information about his garden please see Geoff's own website at http://geoffstonebanks.co.uk/

Geoff will be opening up his garden form 11am - 5pm and will be providing a plant stall as well as cakes and baked goods. Geoff's amazing 'Driftwood' garden is listed by the Independent as a "seaside garden to see"! This garden welcomes dogs, on a lead.  However the garden is not wheelchair friendly.

23 June  11am - 4pm
Open Garden at Friston Place, Friston, BN20 0AG

Nestling in the Sussex Downs, Friston Place is a 17th century house built around a medieval yeoman's cottage.  It has beautiful and extensive gardens including a rose and kitchen garden and a two acre meadow.

Entrance to the garden is by donation, with all proceeds going to St Wilfrid's Hospice. Stalls and refreshments will be available and gardening advice will also be available on the day. Children are welcome and only guide dogs will be admitted. We apologise that this garden is not able to cater for wheelchair users.
