The Latest CQC Inspection

Below are a few of the comments contained within the latest Care Quality Commission Inspection Report. The latest report was published on 7th December 2012.

"We saw patients who were unwell and frightened treated with the utmost respect and dignity. The families were kept fully informed and were treated with empathy and discreet support."

"We observed that staff were empathetic and respectful to patients, visitors and each other. We saw that despite staff being busy, the atmosphere on the In-Patient Unit was serene and unrushed."

"Time was given to sit and talk with patients by the staff team and doctors. Patients were fully involved in decisions about their treatment and support."

"The environment was tranquil, comfortable and the care was delivered with sensitivity and knowledge."

"The care plans evidenced a holistic approach to care with a focus on treating not only a person's illness but the individual as a whole person."
