Hospice @ Home Healthcare Assistant
37.5 hours per week (job share considered)
Salary £15,495 to £18,522 per annum (pro rata)
To cover maternity leave
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Assistant to join our Hospice at Home Team for a temporary contract, to cover maternity leave.
The Hospice at Home Team provide specialist palliative care to patients in the community. A good understanding of the holistic model of care is important for this role.
You will be working alongside other health care professionals, therefore, the ability to work collaboratively coupled with good communication skills is imperative.
NVQ level 3 in healthcare is desirable, however applicants with NVQ level 2 in healthcare or those working towards this will be considered for this position. Recent experience is essential, preferably in the community.
The ability to work autonomously is very important. You will also need access to a car, as the role involves travelling in the community.
We are offering 27 days annual leave (pro rata) plus subsidised meals.
