Community Fundraiser

 

37.5 hours per week

Salary Circa £24,000

 
This is a superb opportunity for a successful and experienced fundraiser.  You will be joining a thriving charity just starting a very high profile project to build a new hospice in the heart of Eastbourne in East Sussex and supporting thecharity’s vision of transforming end of life care right across its community.
 
As only 15% of the Hospice’s funding comes from the NHS it relies upon the generosity of the local community to sustain it. The Community Fundraiser will be part of the Community Engagement team and will be responsible for delivering financial targets set in the business plan and managing relationships with businesses, clubs, societies, education providers and faith communities to maximise their potential for support.
 
To be successful in this role you will have previous fundraising and networking experience, excellent presentation skills combined with initiative and drive, and the ability to develop good relationships both internally and externally.
 
We offer 27 days annual leave, increasing with length of service, generous pension arrangements and subsidised meals.
