What we do

We exist to support, empower and care for people at the end of life. We provide specialist care for people with any progressive and advanced disease.

Patients with uncontrolled symptoms or psychological distress are referred by their GP, or another healthcare professional involved in their care. The most commonly referred problems include uncontrolled pain, vomiting, breathlessness, fatigue, anxiety or low mood.

We're also passionate about influencing the quality of end of life care in all settings, and encouraging the wider community to be concerned about the issues of death, dying and loss.
