We were founded in 1982, and exist to support, empower and care for people at the end of life, to influence quality of end of life care in all settings, and to encourage our wider community to be concerned about death, dying and loss.

We serve a population of 230,000 people from Eastbourne and the surrounding areas. Every year, over 2,000 people in this area may need our support.

Last year, 312 people stayed on our Inpatient Unit, 508 people were supported by our Nurse Line, and 439 new people were supported at home.

Communities we serve

We provide hospice care to the communities of Eastbourne, Pevensey, Seaford, Heathfield, Uckfield, and everywhere in between.
