Donate goods
Our shop wouldn’t exist without your generosity. Thank you for thinking of us.
We’ve received some wonderful donations over the years and are always in need of more. Whether you’re raiding your wardrobe or making some extra space around the house, we’re happy to find your quality unwanted items a new home.
Somebody in your community will love the things that you don’t.

To donate please call 01323 418424 or email and we will collect.
What are your opening times?
The Hub is open Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm and Saturdays.
The donation centre, where our team of paid staff and volunteers sort all donations, can be busy so we would suggest that you drop donations off between 10am – 4pm so that a member of our team is able to help you.

What are your contact details?
You can call us on 01323 418424. The phone lines are open 9am – 5pm. Please leave a message and we will call you back as soon as possible. If we have not returned your call within 48 hours we may not have received your message so please call again.
Alternatively why not email us?

We thank you for your generosity and hope that you understand that we are not always able to accept your donations. This is often for safety reasons but could be due to the fact that we are unable to sell or recycle the items leading to an additional cost of disposing of the items. We will let you know that at the earliest possible opportunity when we are unable to accept items.

Why can we not accept some donations?
St Wilfrid’s Hospice exists to support, empower and care for people at the end of life. The Retail Company directly supports this vision and all profits, made in our shops and through retail income, directly benefit the hospice. We are a not-for-profit retail company and any additional resource requirements such as disposing of unsaleable items can affect this.
If we are able to generate additional income from items donated we will endeavour to do so. In most cases where we are not able to sell them through our shops we will recycle them.
Where shall I bring my donations?
You can bring donations to The Hub which is where we centrally sort all of our donated items. There is ample free parking and the team will be happy to help with your items.
The Hub is located at;
Technology Business Park
Moy Avenue
Eastbourne
East Sussex
BN22 8LD

Whilst we are open Monday to Saturday 9am – 5pm we would advise that the best time to drop off your donations is 10am-4pm.

You can drop off donations to any of our shops but please consider not leaving items outside as this often means that they become unsaleable. Our usual opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9am – 5pm.

I have items that I can't bring to you myself. Can you pick them up?
Yes, we can! If you're unable to travel to us or are donating a heavy or large piece of furniture, we're more than happy to come to you. You can call us on 01323 418424 or email us to arrange a home collection.
If the item you would like to donate is heavy or wide please call to discuss the collection.
What can St Wilfrid’s Hospice recycle?
There are many items which we are able to recycle to generate income in support of the hospice. Occasionally we will not be able to accept these items because we have limited storage.
We can recycle:
·        Clothing
·        Footwear and accessories
·        Some electrical items
·        Foreign coins and old money
·        Electrical items
Please call 01323 418424 or email to check whether we are currently able to accept these items to avoid disappointment or inconvenience.
